We've known about this unit for many years, 2 of its 3 owners have been customers of ours, and we finally wound up buying it. One repaint in the original #040 Black (rust was minimal, they used the shop we use), excellent service records from "our shop" (Precision Motorcars here in Cincinnati), most recently last Fall f(or a total of $3648 and which included a compression check (at our request) which was 340-360-360-340-320 and which speaks volumes about the care this unit has had. This wagon runs great, cold AC, tranny shifts properly, suspension. brakes. and front end are good. If you've been away from the market for awhile be aware that a lot of '80s MBzs have vaulted to new highs and that includes the turbodiesels (especially the coupes and wagons). $9,950.
